Craig and his team have done a fantastic job. Craig was professional from the initial meeting right the way through to the end of the project which was a very complex job. Craig has excellent attention to detail. He came to the house a number of times to discuss the detail of the work before providing a quote. The quote we got was broken down into chunks, so we understood exactly what was included.

Once we accepted the quote, Craig provided a detailed schedule of works and a payment schedule, so we knew what to expect and when we needed to pay for things. His approach and project management is top class, we had regular small deliveries of building materials, which kept the neighbours happy (they have all commented on how well the build was managed) and all the various trades were coordinated like a well-oiled machine!

The quality of work throughout the build has been 1st class. Craig’s brickwork needs to be seen to be believed and the workmanship and tidiness of the whole team (John, George, Al, Tom, Adam, Richard, Chinzy and Vince) has been brilliant. One of the things we really liked about the way Craig approached the project was it was the only project Craig was involved in, so he had 100% focus on getting the job done. He also incorporated any changes or unexpected issues that are inevitable in a job of this size without a fuss and avoided additional charges wherever he could.

Another all-round excellent job carried out to their customary high standard of workmanship by Craig & Chinzie. I already knew just how much emphasis Craig places on total customer satisfaction but on this occasion, he excelled - the help and advice are very much appreciated. 

Excellent ALL round. Indeed, we have never done business with such a reliable builder before. From first visit and quote, Craig did exactly what he said he would do. He always arrived when he had said he would in a text and all the team working on the job were brilliant.

It was a pleasure to have met Craig, John, George, Alan, Scott and Vince and the other trades who worked on our house. All were hardworking, punctual, polite, conscientious, friendly, and a team who take great pride in their work. All work was carried out to an excellent standard and we have a fabulous new extension. We are so happy with the build that they will be coming back to do a new patio for us in the spring.

We have only good things to say about Craig and his team. The work they all did was excellent, always punctual, they were very tidy and professional at all times. Craig gave us a schedule of the work to be done so we knew what work was going to be carried out and when. The other thing we liked was that we paid Craig in instalments as the work was carried out. The end result is a new kitchen extension that is far better than we could have dreamed of.

CDL did an outstanding job on our extension. The finish is impeccable. They are punctual, well informed, hardworking and a pleasure to have around. I would definitely recommend this company to anybody looking for a local, honest building firm.

Craig is a confident and skilful tradesman. He is keen to find solutions and meet the customers wishes. He heads a hard-working team and undertook this project to our complete satisfaction. Craig and his team have carried out some major work for us over the past two or three years, which included a two-story extension (700 square foot). Had they not done such a good job the first-time round, we would not have had them back. They are very professional and apply a very high level of detail to all the work they do. They are also reliable and very tidy workers - my wife is quite critical about tidiness and even she was impressed.

I believe that I would not find any other builders who are as good or as trustworthy. In testament to how pleased we are, we would be more than happy for CDL to bring any potential customers to our home to view the quality of their work.

Between Nov 2010 and the opening of the Helping Hands Group building in Jan 2011, CDL builders carried out major alterations to ensure that everything was DDA compliant. The team were fantastic, 100% professional at all times and very approachable. They did everything they said they would and more e.g., during the course of the project, there were several odd jobs that needed attention which were not in the quote and they carried these out without any extra charge. They could not do enough for us. I would definitely recommend CDL Builders to anyone.
