Sun Rooms, Conservatories, and Bi-Folds
At CDL Builders we love a challenge and with this section we certainly get one. We will work tirelessly to get ensure we provide you with the most up to date living accommodation, using the most up to date products. Even our ‘basic’ conservatories utilise top of the range windows, roofs and glass.
We work with all kinds of luxury products, including glass roofs, premium aluminium bi folding doors/sliding doors, integrated blinds inside the glass units and electric Velux windows.
All building products used on any conservatories, orangeries or sun lounges are top of the range and A rated.
Landscaping, Patios, Driveways, and Decking
CDL Builders specialise in groundworks and brickworks, meaning we can design beautiful and unique landscaping for your garden. With our years of experience in the building industry, we can achieve great looking driveways, fences and patios that stand the test of time and last for years. In order to ensure the final project looks as great as possible for as long as possible, we will always go the extra mile at the groundworks stage.
We use several top-quality suppliers, allowing us to provide the best quality landscaping materials whilst delivering an installation that is tailored to your specifications and practical for you.
Extensions / Kitchen Extensions
When you accept a CDL Builders quotation we will get to work to provide you with a timeframe for works, a pay scheme and a list of works to be carried out. We never take deposits on any of our projects and will only ask for funds if certain sections of the works have been completed and the you’re are happy.
We will provide extensive details on how the planned works will progress. We will always keep you updated on the progress of your project and we never start a project and leave it. We will be present on the project at all times and will take control of any Council Inspections, ensuring all checks are passed with flying colours.
We prioritise customer satisfaction over anything else and will keep any disruption caused by the work to a minimum.
Structural Works, Garages, and Porches
Most of these works needs building Regulations and some need planning applications. If you increase your floor area in any amount to the existing floor area, Upstairs or downstairs and even a bay window size, then you will need Building regulations. For removal of walls load bearing and sometimes non load bearing or any other structural works required you will need a Structural engineers and building regulations. Other works to consider which will need building regulations are, any alterations to underground drainage and any new external window and door openings (may also need planning).
We can guide you through these works and recommend a local structural engineers. However we can not price accurately for these works until we have the structural engineers report.
Architect Plans, Planning Permission, and Building Regulations
At CDL Builders we are committed to helping you get the right design and plans for your planned project. If you are unsure on how to design the right project for you, then we are here to help. Alternatively, if you do know what you would like, then we can work with you on your design and offer years of industry experience for you to draw on.
We work closely with selected local architects to offer the drawing up of plans and designs for unique projects throughout the Peterborough area. We will also guide you through all the planning and building regulations to ensure you don’t encounter issues with your new project.
